TAHNIAH PROFESOR MADYA DR. YEOH FEI YEE PENAJA PPRN

eposter TAHNIAH PROF MADYA DR YEOH FEI YEE PENAJA PPRNMini biogas bottling process is a PPRN collaboration project between KGC Resources and Universiti Sains Malaysia, in tackling the need for sustainable poultry waste management and green energy solutions via biogas bottling technology. Traditional biogas upgrading methods are often complex and expensive for applications of small-scale farmers. High-pressure storage in the traditional process often poses significant safety risks. Based on the inquiry from small poultry farmers, an efficient mini-scale biogas bottling process, is urgently needed for safe and accessible energy applications. The project carries the objective to improve biogas bottling storage through enhancing its safety by reducing storage pressure. Chicken manure will be used to produced biogas, which will be bottled in custom-fabricating storage gas cylinders assisted by sorbents. This project is expected to contribute towards safe and efficient biogas bottling systems at lower storage pressure. Ultimately, this collaboration aims to advance biogas technology and contribute significantly to greenhouse gas reduction and environmental sustainability.
