This study evaluates the efficacy of several commercial insecticide formulations against spiders and booklice, two common pests that can cause significant damage in various settings. The research aims to identify the most effective insecticides while considering factors such as safety and environmental impact. Equal numbers of spiders and booklice were introduced to each treatment group, and insecticides were applied according to manufacturer guidelines. Mortality rates were recorded at 24, 48, and 72 hours post-application.

EFFICACY OF SEVERAL COMMERCIAL INSECTICIDE FORMULATIONS AGAINST THE GERMAN COCKROACH, BLATELLA GERMANICA, IN DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENTAL PARAMETERS

This study evaluates the efficacy of various commercial insecticide formulations against the German cockroach, Blattella germanica, under different environmental parameters. Mortality rates were recorded at 24, 48, and 72 hours post-application. Results indicated significant variations in effectiveness influenced by environmental factors, with certain formulations performing better under specific conditions. The findings emphasize the importance of considering environmental parameters in pest management strategies for Blattella germanica. Further research is recommended to explore long-term effects and potential resistance development in cockroach populations.
