eposter MRC GLOBAL FUNDING FOR RUBBER INNOVATION INVITATION TO ROADSHOW IN CENTRAL MALAYSIA v2

Greetings from the Malaysian Rubber Council (MRC)!

MRC is an agency under the Ministry of Plantation and Commodities (MPC) and its main function is to promote quality Malaysian rubber and rubber products in world markets.

As part of its efforts to promote investments in high-value products and technologies within the rubber and rubber products industry, MRC has established the MRC Global Funding for Rubber Innovation (GFRI) to seed innovative inter-disciplinary non-fundamental research with good commercial viability. The Fund is open to all researchers globally and can be applied throughout the year.

MRC is organizing the GFRI Roadshow in Kuala Lumpur, which will serve as a meeting point for the rubber sector and researchers to exchange information and identify research subjects for funding opportunities. The roadshow activities include briefings on the overview of the rubber industry (by sectors) including its issues and challenges faced by the industry.

The roadshow is part of an ongoing effort to promote the GFRI program, which was launched on 7 June 2022, to seed innovative inter-disciplinary non-fundamental research with the potential to promote investments in high-value products and technologies in the rubber industry.
