OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS - APEC-AUSTRALIA WOMEN IN RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP

I am pleased to inform you that the Australia EDNET Team has announced the opening of applications for the 2023 APEC-Australia Women in Research Fellowship. Initiated by the Australian Government in partnership with the Australian APEC Study Centre, the APEC-Australia Women in Research Fellowship supports economic and technical cooperation to address the many challenges that are faced by women researchers in the region.

This program offers 20 women researchers from developing economies in the APEC region up to AU$20,000 each to work in partnership with an Australian education institution to undertake a research project over one to three months. Through enhancing research and fostering innovative growth among APEC economies, the 2023 fellowship program will enable women researchers to advance their capabilities and expertise in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields. The fellowship program welcomes applications from eligible women who are citizens and permanent residents of the People’s Republic of China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Philippines, Thailand and Viet Nam.
