CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2023 YOUNG SCIENTISTS NETWORK-ACADEMY OF SCIENCES MALAYSIA (YSN-ASM) NEW MEMBERSHIP

 

The Academy of Sciences Malaysia (ASM) is pleased to announce the call for applications for the 2023 membership of the Young Scientists Network-Academy of Sciences Malaysia (YSN-ASM).

YSN-ASM serves as the platform for young scientists to progress in science and become leaders, as well as to represent the voice of young scientists in Malaysia through the YSN-ASM. This platform is fashioned for outstanding young Malaysian scientists to be actively involved in addressing national issues using their expertise in interdisciplinary areas, toward the development of scientific capacity and awareness in Malaysia. The members of YSN-ASM are devoted to contribute to the national Science, Technology, Innovation and Economy (STIE) ecosystem beyond their individual research interests.

In relation to this, ASM would like to invite all outstanding young Malaysian scientists from all Institutions of Higher Learnings, Research Institutes and Industries in Malaysia to be the new members of YSN-ASM. The applicants should have obtained n PhD or equivalent degree in natural, physical, or social sciences with the age of 42 years old and below at the time of application. Applications submitted will be subjected to an evaluation process by the YSN-ASM Selection Committee, and the successful applicants will be notified via email in October 2023. All applicants are required to complete the online application form at www.mytopscientists.org. Please be informed that supporting documents such as a letter of recommendation from the Head of Department, institutional endorsement, and additional information are compulsory to be uploaded and submitted together with the application form.

All applications must be submitted by 30 June 2023 (Friday).
