CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: MACR EARLY-MID CAREER RESEARCH (EMERGE) GRANT 2026 (MACR EMERGE Grant 2026) 

In 2017, the Malaysian Association for Cancer Research (MACR) was set up to bring together like-minded researchers and advance cancer research in Southeast Asia. Since then, MACR has grown steadily through a variety of academic and fundraising activities, particularly its flagship conference series, i.e. the International Conference on Drug Discovery and Translational Medicine (ICDDTM) and the MACR International Scientific Conference (MSC). 

Staying true to its original aim of backing life-saving cancer research, MACR has launched a new grant scheme, MACR Early-Mid Career Research (EMERGE) Grant 2026 (MACR EMERGE Grant 2026), to support cancer researchers in furthering their careers.

MACR invites all eligible researchers based at Malaysian institutions to apply for this grant scheme. TWO grants will be awarded, each worth RM30,000.00. Interested applicants should note the following key grant details :
