Call for Applications: Prof. Yoo Hang Kim Young Scientists Award 2025 [Second Call]

As a member of the Association of Academies and Societies of Sciences in Asia (AASSA),the Academy of Sciences Malaysia (ASM) are pleased to invite eligible young women scientists in Malaysia to apply for the Prof. Yoo Hang Kim Young Scientists Award 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Be a young woman scientist in STEM, preferably within five years of receiving a PhD.
• Have presented or had original research accepted at an international scientific conference or published in international journals.
• Provide proof of acceptance to present original research at an AASSA-recognised international scientific conference.

Award Details

Each award is valued up to USD2,000, reimbursable against:

• Roundtrip economy airfare
• Conference registration fees
• Meals (per diem)
• Accommodation during the conference
