EMBASSY OF FRANCE MOBILITY PROGRAMS FRENCH SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGIES OF THE SEA SCHOLARSHIP MALAYSIAN NGO GRANT

For your good information, the Embassy of France to Malaysia has just launched two grant/scholarship mobility programs, as part of the strategy of training of human resources in science, technology and innovation lead by the Service of Cultural Cooperation and Action :

First edition of the French + Sciences scholarship program - Sciences and technologies of the sea

This scholarship is dedicated to supporting the mobilities of Malaysian undergraduate students to the “Sciences and Technologies of the Sea” summer school (June-July 2024), offered by the Language Center “Ciel Bretagne”, in collaboration with Technopôle Brest Iroise, and Campus Mondial de la Mer. The call is open until April 5^th to :

-  Malaysian citizens under 25 years of age by 31st December 2024.

-  Students currently enrolled in a higher education institution (public or private), in a Bachelor degree in marine sciences or technologies, or a Bachelor degree related to marine science or technologies (biology, geology, engineering, data analysis …)

-  Knowledge of French is not mandatory

Third edition of the grant for Malaysian NGOs involved in environmental protection and the fight against climate change

In line with the strong commitment from the French government towards nature conservation, the Embassy of France to Malaysia is launching the 3rd call for Malaysian NGOs involved in environmental protection and the fight against climate change. As the 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC) will convene in France in June 2025, and within the framework of the UN Ocean Decade, the 2024 call will target exclusively the preservation of marine and coastal ecosystems.

The call is open until April 5^th to  Malaysian NGOs/associations or local branches of international NGOs working on the preservation of marine and coastal ecosystems.
